The Irish phase of an International Study “Autism and the Criminal Justice System: Policy Opportunities and Challenges” is being conducted by Health Economist Dr Áine Roddy over the coming months. Stakeholders from the criminal justice system and the autistic community across Ireland are being invited to provide their expertise and insight on the proposed draft surveys for this study by the Policy and Analytics Center, A.J. Drexel Autism Institute, Drexel University and the Philadelphia Police Department Training & Education Services Bureau.
The aim of the study is to allow criminal justice professionals, members of the autistic community and their parents/caregivers to describe their experiences with the criminal justice system.
